Gold Hoop Earrings

Hello all,

I'm looking around for 9ct Gold Hoop Earrings (plain and thin) that are around 40mm - 50mm in diameter as a Christmas gift for my mum.

It sounds like a nice simple idea, but it appears very few exist around this size.

The only ones I've managed to find is in Argos for £26.99 but in all honesty they look horribly cheap and have extremely bad reviews.

Other than that I can only find F Hinds 50mm pair for £125 but they aren't available until mid-january.

I am at panic stations now as its only 7 days until xmas :eek: and this is a present that would really, really make her day. Please help me somebody.

I've never bought from any of these sites but did a quick search given your dimensions. The last link doesnt have a size but given the clasp size (ear lobe width) to hoop comparison I'd say it falls between 40 and 50mm.

Thank you for your help. I've never ordered from these sites before hand, so I am a little wary about spending £100+ on a website i've never used before.

If possible I am trying to find a jewellers that will do the plain gold hoop earings that I can visit. I am based in Coventry, but can drive to any of the surround areas as well as Milton Keynes area as well.

I think if I were you, I'd do it the old-fashioned way at this stage...........get the Yellow Pages out and phone around local jewellers!

I know these aren't exactly to your specification, but I do think they are a nice variation on the theme and a bit different.

Mine were bout £30 and the size you want, although horribly cheap they have lasted ages, from Warren James (yes I know) !!!!

To be honest, the cheaper the better imo just want ones that aren't going to bend or brake.

The perfect ones I found in argos were only £26.99 for 9ct gold ones but they have terrible reviews so I am staying away from them.

Thanks everyone but I am sorted now. A trip to a far away town centre did the trick. That's my xmas shopping done (except something extra and random for the mrs)
