Gambling:Louis Theroux?

OMG!
Did anyone catch this on the BBC just?
Did you see those people throwing thousands of pounds away? I made me feel ill...Give it to me and at least I'll put it to good use instead of lining the pockets of the Hilton Family!
That one woman has lost 4 million dollars in 7 years!!!

I didn't see it all, but I did see that woman who had lost $4m in 7 years. It's sickening really when you consider that even in their own country (which is a rich nation) there are people living on the breadline. I do wonder how some of these people can sleep at night, including the people who actually run these places.

Very good documentary. I wonder how many suicides they have to deal with every year? Perhaps the casino also provides the 'highrollers' with complimentary cyanide pills!

Or me! I thought it was good, and I love Louis. It was interesting how they all said they could stop at any time, like denying their addiction. I smoke, and I know I can't stop at any time, it's an addiction and I need help to stop.

I avoided it, from the advert with that woman who said she wouldn't run out of money and just puts it in the flippin slots! I couldn't watch and keep my good humour!! :rotfl:
