Contradictory advice from two IFAs. - What to do?

Are you male?
Ask both advisers if they have taken into account that by the time you come to take the pension, gender equal annuity rates will be applicable?
With such a short period until retirement, I'd be very wary of giving up your guarantees and carrying the investment and longevity risks yourself.0 -

All the chat aside.
This is such an important thing that the OP is being advised on and with many different caveats based on inividual circumstances
If the advice is correct move from a final salary should be presented in a way that the OP would not even bother to come on a forum such as this.
I would recommend that if the IFA recommending the move is unable to demonstrate to your satisfaction that any move is best then don't do it!
I am not saying that everyone has to understand every tecnicality of what an IFA arranges for them but this is an area that someone should not have to question if they have been advised correctly!!!0
