Thanks NeilWoods, Mods:money: this can stay, it's a national grabbit. Oh this posting is a confusing lark;) !
It WAS Stationery Box... but I'm not too familiar with it, so didn't realise it's a chain.. So this is a National grabbit after all then? Go, hunt my pretties, find your bargains!;)
Stationery box are closing down, I've been in to their store and seen small electronic safe's for £11, very cheap desks, chairs, a shredder for £6, 50% off stationery, 3 for 3 on folders etc.
I didn't buy anything because I'm trying to keep my grabbits to thing's I really NEED, not impulse buy (other than my 50 infiniti DVD's which I treated myself to on this forum recently!:p ) I think this might be good for people who have home offices and need supplies or parents with kids in school etc.
Enjoy!

New Project Tesco points collecting :rolleyes:0 -
I bought a load of cheap padded envelopes yesterday 3for2 offer.
They may not be actually closing down as such but more of rebranding.
Ryman who are a large national staionery chain, has bought up 58 stationery Box outlets.
So lots of cheap goodies to be had.
They did have a leatherette wheeled chair for 34.99Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
I was in the store in Hamilton yesterday and there seemed to be a few good bargains but things weren't priced properly so it was a bit confusing. I did pick up a half price 2007 diary but I'm diaries are pretty cheap most places at the moment.
There was one man in trying to take advantage of the situation and grab himself a bargain... he was asking if he could buy the shop :rotfl:0 -
If the staff were anything as confused as in my local, I'd love to have seen them deal with that one!:T0

Just done a quick Google, and apparently:Stationery Box, the chain of 140 stationery stores, has been acquired by retail restructuring specialist Hilco. 13-Dec-2006
I've also tried to check out their website (as I'm sure everyone else reading this thread has done) only to be met with the message:Site Under Construction.
Thank you for your patience, whilst we restructure this website
Make of that as you will0 -
