Except you didn't earn it - you borrowed it from your lender via mortgage equity withdrawal with no plan in place to pay it back.

It's a free country for me to ask the questions I have. Can you not see the irony of what you are saying?

You've financed your life for the last 11 years with borrowed money, now the chickens are coming home to roost. I agree with you that it doesn't matter on what you've spent it, the fact is you have spent it without consideration of how you will ever pay it back, which just reeks of mindless irresponsibility I would expect someone of your age to have left behind in their teens.

There's no easy answers. All you can do is look forward and salvage whatever you can from the situation. Ultimately though this will require a change of attitude from within. As only you have the power to change matters. Treating matters with a degree of humility is a step forward. Having dealt with financial issues for more years than I care to remember. Aggression I've found is little more than a defence mechanism (that can be seen through). As in reality circumstances are done to personal choice and decision nothing more.
