The Entertainer Toy Shop lots of discounted toys

We went into The Entertainer toy shop in Wakefield yesterday and they have a lot of money off deals. They had a few 50% off Lego games, Sunblock was one of them.
My son bought a Hexbug game which had £10 off, they also had a lot of Paperjamz guitars etc that had 60% off. Here is an online link although, a lot of the stuff online appears to be out of stock.
Hope this helps someone.

Ignore Rizla, not all of us are patronising and rude. Most of us are friendly and give positive input into the grabbit board making it a lovely place to be. There is an 'ignore' button around here for people like this... wont mention the fact they spelt 'thay' wrong :p

It would be worth noting that the Tinga Tinga animals that sold out very quickly online and that since have only been available for home delivery, were available in my local when I picked my order up. They were £3 instore so not quite as good as £2 something, but a bargain gift for little ones if anyone is looking for a last minute gift. :)

Oh Well. If it got the OP a lot of sympathy votes, so it didn't do any harm did it?

Very surprised at your views Savvybunny. You have been here long enough to know better and that posting 'Deals' like "such&such are knocking 20% off all toys" - is NOT a deal.

As has been mentioned a few times now, you get the MSE that you all deserve.:T

    Good luck. :)

I think your memo may have not hit your in-tray yet, but... Christmas is just a week away and people will have Christmas shopping to complete. Lets face it, toys have ridiculous rrp's and if it helps one parent afford a few nice toys for their kids who is going to begrudge that? Quite a few people were after the tinga tinga toys over the last week or two but they do have them instore at £3 which will help those who aren't willing to pay the £3.95 delivery charge as you cannot order them to a local store online.

I agree grabbit requests are inappropriate for a grabbit board, and not everyone will appreciate every thread on this board but surely you can just not click on the ones that don't interest you. Saves you a click.

Once you have cheered up, pop over to the Christmas & Other Yuletide Festivals board and have a mince pie and hot toddy on us ;)

  • Rizla01, I did a post, you decide to pick a fight with me, I've just returned from taking my little boy to see Santa, what is going on here?
Thanks to everyone else, won't bother again.

yes, jollymummy please do post again. Most people are grateful and it will annoy the misers more if we all keep on posting. The forum is run for everyone not just one or two who think they get to decide what is a grabbit and what is not. No one makes them read it and if they have the time to write complaints about posts then they need to move on and do something constructive instead. I don't have any kids to buy for but I did pass on your post to others that do so thank you.

Thanks OP, we don't have any of the stores here so this was very useful, ordered a few things.

If your son likes Hexbugs and you have a Home Bargains nearby they had the Hexbug Nano Bridge Battle set for £14.99 which is the best I have seen it. It is hit and miss with Home Bargains, not sure how many stores will have them.

Thanks for the post, dont let 1 person put you off posting again ignore them.

There should be a button reporting rudeness and unwelcoming comments. It really annoys me.
