I'd definitely see your doctor and get a sicknote-I'd also consult a solicitor for advice -ACASmay also be able to advise you what you need to ensure is documented and what your employers responsibilities are.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I fail to see the point your attempting to make. I alluded to nothing but was implicit re non-consensual act of violence experienced at work.
I made no reference to over three day injury in any way shape or form.
Did I state that you implicitly referred to a OTD injury? I certainly did not - I did mention if you were 'alluding' to the regulations.
I would suggest you read the posts correctly before replying.
Why I did respond was because you asked if the OP took leave after her injury. You gave no clear indication as to why you would ask the question but it is certainly relevant in respect of RIDDOR - and I responded accordingly - to assist the OP.
Based on the OP's post, her situation clearly falls under this legislation on two counts and I hope she has been reassured by her employer that precautions are now in place to prevent a repetition.0
