New Direct Link at the Top of this forum

Hi folks. Hope you like the new direct links at the top of here. THought it'd make price comparing easier. The aim in future is to have specific links to kelkoo pricerunner and dealtime there as well, openable in a new page so you can do a quick price comparison. Your thoughts on this would be welcome.

Sounds good to me. Can we make suggestions of other comparison sites to add? Could do with a decent DVD comparison site, like this one

At the risk of seeming like a brown-nose  I'd really like to see a link to a cashback site similar to gp and rpoints, but a site set up by MSE with profits going to the MoneySaving charity that Martin dreams of setting up! I'm sure the majority of us here use these cashback sites, and nice though it is to have the cashback on our purchases, it bothers me that the cashback site must be making a lot more on our collective purchases than we are! I'd much rather see the profits going to charity ...

But as it is at the moment, I think the direct links are an excellent idea, and very, very useful and time-saving!

I think people should be aware that Dealtime and Kelkoo only list sites which pay to be in. Dealtime used to be a flat rate cost to the shop of 50p per click but I don't know what it is now. Whereas Froogle is free to anyone who can provide a datafeed, so in theory it should provide a wider range of results.
