Morning everyone, this year am giving my two boys 100 pound each for christmas, i dont wanna just put it in a card, thats boring. They are 14 yrs and the other is nearly 12, and suggestions, that make it a bit more exciting. Thanks xx

You could make a money tree - stick a small branch with twigs coming off it in a little pot and roll the notes up round the twigs (with that sellotape that comes off cleanly!).0

You could get 100 pound coins from the bank and put it into a box? Then they could feel like Scrooge McDuck :rotfl:
(Then they could take it to the back after Christmas and change it for notes)0 -
Buy a load of balloons, say red and green (red for one son, green for the other). Get the money in smaller notes, lots of fives, some tens and maybe a twenty. Roll each note up and put one in each balloon, 2 in some if you like, so there is £100 in red balloons and £100 in green balloons. Blow up the balloons and some extra ones with no notes in. Leave them in the lounge on Xmas eve. On Xmas morning give each son a gift bag (one red, one green if poss!). Tell them they have 3 minutes to pop as many of their colour balloon as they can and find what's inside. Whatever they find has to go straight into their gift bag and whatever they have in their gift bag by e end of the 3 minutes (or however long you decide), they keep!! Time them on a timer if you can get hold of one or just on your phone if not!
You can give them the rest once the game's finished if they don't get it all of course and be on hand to watch out for any stray notes but it is such fun! We did it for my nephew one year-he loved it and still talks about it now!

Big 'Pot Of Gold' ? No scratchcard of course just 100 £ coins mixed in with lots of chocolate coins and other 'gold' items?Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

I helped my colleague out the other day and wrapped up money for her that she is giving her son and daughter in law for christmas!
It was a mixture of small notes, £ coins, 50p's, 20p's and 10p's! Also some of them yellow stretchy men wrapped around coins and then all put into a box with flying saucers acting as them polysterene balls! That's going to be fun to watch on Xmas day! lol:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j
