The term Smithy shareholders is not referring to financial shareholders. It is referring to being a registered user on the website. By registering each user will then get 'shareholder perks'; including the free pint glass.

For anyone that has claimed the free pint glass, I suggest that you register yourself at Smithys by completing the form at http://www.johnsmiths.co.uk/smithy/users/register.aspx; otherwise you may not get the free glass.
