  • Lots to do, we're getting more and more behind each day!! Today the decs should have gone up (well ideally I would have had them up 1st December but never mind!) so the new plan is:

Monday: Go to B&Q, Next & Ikea first thing - one more present to buy (had to change it) and get wrapping paper. Day time: Paint spare bedroom for the in-laws. Hoover, tidy house and put away all DIY rubbish. If we get time in the evening I might get the tree assembled and a few nails in the wall where I want decs to go.

Tuesday: Hubby at work all day and has a works do in the evening so Tuesday will be spent putting the decs up, and wrapping all the presents.

Wednesday: Father in law comes. Probably will put his room to rights in the morning, set the bed up etc. Bake the cookie trees, assemble the gingerbread house

Thursday: Bake about 48 cupcakes for a party on Christmas Eve

    Friday: Decorate them

Saturday: Have a little bit of prep to do for the party (held at my brothers) and going to help my parents prep for Christmas day too. Should finally all settle down at about 6pm so I can just sit down and get ready for Santa.

Sunday: MIL arriving at silly o'clock with 9 kittens (yay!!) small visit from my nieces who want to see the kittens and then off to enjoy Christmas at my parents and oh my gosh I've just remembered I have to fit making a cheesecake and chocolate brownies into my week somehow!! Rawr!!!

I think I might have to not sleep all week :rotfl:
  • I Finished the christmas shopping on friday when i went to liverpool and got it all wrapped today :j Good job really because im at work everyday this week apart from tuesday and im meeting friends for coffee then hoping to do some christmas baking, probably cupcakes. The only thing ive left to get is a christmas scratchcard for my mums stocking which i can get on my break at work :T

I seem to be on track........ for once! We've had a lovely few days, took the kids to the panto and out for dinner, they loved seeing Chris from CBeebies and it was really good fun! We also went to see Arthur Christmas and had dinner out afterwards, really enjoyed it and felt very festive after! Off to do the family present drop this week, almost everything is wrapped apart from one present which is arriving tomorrow! Just got to finalise the Christmas food shop, clean the house, got lots of things for the kids to make and do in the run up to the big day and I'm getting my nails done a couple of days before by a friend and having a few Christmas drinks with her, here's hoping she's not had too many before she does them! Oh need to slap a hair dye on and hide the grey! Ha ha! Then I've got to make up the hamper our Elf Joe is leaving on Christmas Eve, I've bought everything for it but need to "pretty it up" and write a poem to go with it!

I'm so excited this year it's crazy, we've got my parents and dh's Mum for Christmas this year so it's going to be really special and something we'd never dreamed of in years gone by and I want it to be the best I can possibly make it as we have no idea what the next Christmas will bring!

I work in the city centre thankfully!

Monday: Finish Christmas shopping at lunchtime and this evening, I have a list of shops to go to and things to get so hopefully I'll get it all done!!! Wrap presents if I get home at a reasonable time.

Tuesday - gym at lunchtime (am trying to lose weight for my summer 2012 wedding lol), then having a friend over in the evening for some pre-Christmas drinks and chat. Wrap any remaining presents.

Wednesday - gym at lunchtime (my last gym session before Christmas) and meal out with OH in the evening.

Thursday - get any last minute bits in the shops at lunchtime, pick up any RM missed deliveries in the evening, get my stuff together for going to mum's, pack presents as well. :o

Friday - go to my mum's for Christmas, wayhey!!!!!!!!
