Some of us can't stock pile for weeks let alone months. To say I live in a shoebox is an understatement. If the end of the world comes, well I'm not sure I want to hang around, let alone fight off the hoards after any food I might have.
I might stockpile chocolate though.

I was in Tesco a few months ago when I saw their 500g wholewheat pasta was reduced to 22p. Of course, I bought a dozen or so. The lady shopping next to me was about to buy a packet of identical pasta (but a different shape) for full price and I pointed out that this stuff was reduced. "Oh, that's a good deal," she said and then took one. I was a bit puzzled since the pasta was dated well and it's a staple food - why just buy one? Then the OH said, "That's what normal people do."
I don't have as large a stockpile as I used to (since moving house) but I'm sure I have more stuff than the people in this article!
