The list in post #26 is the most up to date. There is no concensus on what the liberty icon refers to - I've put down a choice of possible options that would all fit the bill!!0

It is definitely celebrity big brother, there was an article about it in the radio times. A lot of the pictures in the competition were featured in the mag over the year. I know as very sadly I have kept them all and looked through every one of them for the answers! (I really must get out more)

Think I'm going with the jury for 48.
Thanks to all the contributors on this thread :T0 -
thank you all for your hard work - good luck xx0

Toothfairy - thanks for sharing your answers - before sending them in you need to check the name of the Lorraine Pascal Programme - her lastest one had a different name also the Brian Cox one may be one with a different name.
Did you have a look at the snowflakes? I think they are a clue as well but it could be a red herring!
Good luck0 -
thanks mclarkie - I'll alter post #26 to be The Jury.
ATMone - good point!!...will do some searching.......(back from searching!)....well I 'think' (lol!) the Lorraine one could be Home Cooking Made Easy. The Prof Brian Cox one is tricky as it could be The Sky at Night (which he co-presented with Sir Patrick Moore in March) or it could be Wonders of the Universe which did air this year as well as last year. So I guess it's for ppl to take their pick, unless anyone has a better idea!!
Regarding the snow flakes, I suspect these are a red herring. if you look in the magazine, they appear on every page, so I think it's more to 'Christmas-up' the mag!
Thanks for everyone's input on this :-)0 -
Could the Brian Cox one be the programme that was on TV this week - Brian Cox's Night With the Stars?0

I've been struggling to think of any Olympics based shows this year that would fit the torch but someone over on Answerbank has suggested the BBC4 comedy 2012 which would seem to fit.thetoothfairy wrote: »45. Torchwood - the torch'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Terry Pratchett0
