How long did you have to wait for this to come on after registering, I have one in the cupboard for xmas and was looking at buying membership from argos but would set it up early to get this deal.

Do I go onto x box website to register? Also would this offer be noticeable on the dashboard or would I have to route around for it. My son got an x box last christmas but this year wants x box gold live.
If this offer doesn't come up for me, is Argos the cheapest place to buy it. Sorry complete X box novice here so don't have a clue about it.

that seems a very good deal, will have to see if it comes up on ours later. just checked email account that I don't use very often and had a lot of emails from microsoft as they have been unable to process the renewal (didn't realise it was set up to do it automatically) - this is because our credit card has changed. this seems a good thing though as they charge you more than you can get it for elsewhere. anybody know anything about this website - http://www.gamecardsnow.com/ as they have a 14 month membership available for £35.99 and they say they email you the code. seems like a very good deal to me (if we can't get the one mentioned in the OP) but am reluctant to part with the money if it isn't legit.

also does anyone know how to find out when the current membership actually expires?
