Hi guys I need help for my oh present! I am completely stumped on what to get him, he wants money but I want to get him a little bit of something to open too and he has spoilt me this year!! He's 22 and dosnt want for anything he likes films and gadgets and has every game console going but he is getting games and films off mine and his family so I don't want to get him them if he might get it off a family member!! He has loads of smellies and aftershave and will get more at Xmas!!

Up to now I have got him a winter hat and some new lounger pants I was going to get him some new trainers but his mum has got him some... Any ideas please??

  • An annual membership to the local cinema? Annual membership to somewhere like Love Film?

Has he asked you for money for Xmas? Personally I would find it very odd giving my OH money instead of presents.

In case it helps you with any ideas, this year I have bought my OH (birthday & xmas combined)-
    A watch
    A flight to Ibiza
    Whittards Hot Choc
    Everest, beyond the limit DVD
    A jumper
    Boxer shorts
    Sticky toffee pudding
    Debt at 1/5/09 £21,996 _pale_
Current debt- 0 :j Final payment made October 2012. :D

Really depends what he's into, My DH loves his computer and his online game so ive got him a gaming computer tower . . . with no inside :rotfl: which he will love as hes never happier than when he's in the computer shop buying RAM, Hard drives etc and putting it together :D . . . . its currently wrapped and sat in the bedroom, he thinks its a fish tank :rotfl: :rotfl:

Then ive got him the usual chocs, some aftershave, a DVD of Dynamo - that magician, and a PS3 game and possibly a couple of other things I cant remember as they were all wrapped weeks ago due to his inability not to try and find out what he's got :o

My OH is mad about WWII, and Neslon. I've bought books about them. There are a lot of daft books that appeal to his sense of humour, like this one:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Stuck-Up-Dreben-Rich-M-D/dp/0312680082/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1324114857&sr=1-1
Maybe he would like that! :)

Not sure where you are from, but my OH is very hard to buy for as he tends to buy whatever he wants when he sees things! However, I always put a ban on him from buying anything without permission from November until after his birthday in Jan. This year i got his christmas pressies, but his birthday is just over 1 month later and I struggle to find things at the best of times. This year I have tickets booked for the Gadget Show live in Birmingham in April, the tickets are here already and I will just hand them over on his birthday :) link here: http://fwd.channel5.com/gadget-show/gadget-news/gadget-show-live-2012-tickets-now-on-sale-2

How about some bits and pieces for the new car? Poundland usually have loads of car things if you don't want to spend too much. I also saw a cool keyring in Accessorize, which was a piece of lego torch. It was £6.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Sweets from a traditional sweet shop?

For my husband I had got 2 dvds and a mug, couldn't work out what else to get him, then suddenly thought of retro sweets Fri night. He loves sour sweets, so I went into our traditional sweet shop and got him a retro sweet hamper, loadssss of sweets for £15, well worth it, its huge.

That sound like a great idea thanks only problem is the only sweet shop round here has recently closed down and it's an hour journey into town might have to make it though :)
