Fair credit rating?

Hi, I have just got my credit file and my score is 776 which is fair apparently....I used to have a very poor rating. Now, I want to apply for a loan of around 4000 so I can consolidate some debts and not sure who to go with....obviously I don't want to start applying everywhere because thats the reason I had a very poor rating to begin with. So basically I want to know if anyone has been accepted for a loan with a score around this score so I can be pretty much guaranteed to be accepted??
Thank you.
Thank you.

If you do a search on moneysupermarket.com there is an option to do a 'smart' search using limited information which Equifax would look for in a loan application. This does not leave a footprint on your file.
However, having a 'fair' rating you may find that you will only be eligible for loans at a higher interest rate than 'normal'.
And also, as an aside, consolidation might not always be the answer, especially in a sum which is quite small as in your case.
There will be others along more qualified to help you, and maybe you could post what the debts and APR's are so other members could try to help reduce them without lumping them all together?
Hope this helps a little
