Me and hubby are thinking of going and getting some holly but don`t fancy a wreath cos my front door opens straight out into the street. Is there any other ways we can make a display around the house with it? Thanks :j

We always used a bunch of holly, in a copper or brass jug, standing on the hearth/ sideboard or smilar and it looked really nice. That was a Victorian house though.
You could make a holly ball to hang up, but you need some strong gloves, otherwise you will have very sore fingers.
I am sure others will be along soon with some super ideas. :-)0 -
we sort of entwine it into the light fittings, they are black wrought iron, so look nice with a bit of holly. Watch if you hang it up, the berries fall off when they dry out, in case you've got kids.0
