ASDA WATCH WHAT YOU PAY FOR DVDs

Just been into local Asda (Slateford Road, Edinburgh) and purchased new Lee Evans and Peter Kay DVDs for Christmas presents. No sign up to say their price they are displayed beside DVDs selling at anywhere between £5 and £10 so (as they probably hope) you assume they will be same price.
I bought them with food shopping, so didn't see what price they were but horrified to find that they were nearly each £14 !!! My local Sainsbury (normally much more expensive for everything) is selling them for £9.99 and £8.99 respectively.
Be warned! Sadly the Asda Price Guarantee doesn't cover Entertainment so can't get 10% refund on the difference.

Take them back for a refund and then buy them from Sainsburys, personally I would never buy anything that isnt priced without checking the price with a cashier first.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Took your advice but couldn't be bothered with the trek to the store so phoned the Customer Care line. Very nice lady listened to what I had to say , apologised and said she would speak to the Manager of the store then gave me £10 credit back on my card. Good service! Mind you, if they'd sold thousands at the inflated price it's still naughty. Will check next time I'm in.0
