Thanks both - I've tried this... having 'follishly' previously assumed that it wouldn't let me checkout with an item which was apparently out of stock!! We'll see...
Same here, ordered online, let me pay, have conformation, now awaiting dispatch email or cancellation.

same here :j:j might even be here to pop under the tree if were lucky :D my poor hubby doesn't have much under the tree since he has a computer on his lap unless it's super cheap he won;t get much under the tree :rotfl:

I've just had an email stating "We are now preparing your CURRYS order for delivery", although it also contains this "Advance order (delivery date to be confirmed)"

    Ok so had,
    Order confrmation
Order aknowledgement - which states, order being processed - We will email you again when your order is confirmed. All orders are subject to stock availability.

I had this in my email with subject "We are processing your CURRYS order ..." underneath my order number and above the list of items ordered.

  • Thanks, just ordered one for delivery. Would be nice if it came before Christmas but there is no real hurry for it anyway! Mine said 'waiting for supplier delivery before dispatch' or something like that!

Thanks OP i've just placed an order over the phone. The guy on the phone said it was instock and took my payment, he said delivery should be 3-4 days. I questioned him again about it being out of stock but he reassured me it is instock for delivery. Lets hope he's right! Thanks OP, DH needed a new hair clipper and great for doing DS hair too!

Just got my confirmation email and it says - expect delivery by Thursday 22 December 2011.

I saw these in Tesco last night - priced at £34.99, nearly bought one as well, as we needed some clippers. Fingers crossed.
