Telegraph AGA Stove Competiton - ADVICE PLEASE

Dear all,

im not sure if the competition was posted here (i cannot find it),
but i have just had the following WEM...

I'm delighted to inform you that from over 14,000 entries to win an AGA Much Wenlock Classic in the The Daily Telegraph’s Winter at Home AGA Stoves competition, your entry has been selected as the winning entry! Please can you confirm your details by way of reply to this email and I will arrange for the AGA Much Wenlock Classic stove to be delivered to you.

With promotional activities such as this we like to issue a press release regarding the competition and would be delighted if you would allow our photographer to take some pictures of the AGA Stove once it has been installed.

The trouble is this....

i live in a flat... and have nowhere this would fit...

shall i just explain this and see what they say?? im not sure what to do as they want pics!

any advice owuld be greatly appreciated....

great idea - dont tell them the truth, sorry but it would be rubbish if they withdrew the prize or even worse? go to someones house who has a big kitchen and take pictures there - or from a showroom :D

then do as you please, sell it on ebay for local collection or gumtree or anywhere - just dont lose this prize please :T

well done and let me know how you get on x

I know this sounds silly, but Agas are really heavy, so if you're planning on getting it delivered to your flat, and you don't live on the ground floor, you should make sure that the floors are strong enough to take the weight! yes i agree.. take the prize..you won it fair and sqaure and then sell it and you dont even have to respond to them after that..or just say your having familyprobs and its not a good time for photos etc... they dont care...
I remember when myson won the wembley mascot thing.. i got pics taken before.. but they wanted to come back after but i was then going through a divorce so just didnt respond and they left me alone...
Well done on a fab win tho!!!!

Not if you knowingly entered a comp for an AGA stove knowing it won't fit in your kitchen
