Ive just got home fro Aldi. used the 4 bird roast voucher along with a few others. Was confused when it onlycame to £26 at the till as i had calculated it be be around £32+, especially with the 4 bird roast and a litre of Gin in there. She gave me my £5 voucher back, said save it for next week itll last till next thurs. Just got home and looked my my reciept, still slightly confused. She put the 4bird roast through at 50% off instead of 20% :T

I am totally confused now as my paper says 30% off the four bird roast and 50% off the rest and then a separate £5 off £30 voucher.

The thing is there are no barcodes on ANY of the vouchers and so the till operator must have to hit a button to discount each one and then knock the £5 off at the end......

I suppose yours must have hit 50% off by mistake rather than a 20% or 30% button on the 4 bird roast.

I would like to use them all in one transaction i.e. buy all items Quoia has listed (don't have a dishwasher so everything but that one) and then use the £5 off at the end after buying other items to take to £30. Are other folks doing that kind of thing?

Is it quick for the operative to do this? Our Aldi has queues round the block :(

Hope the SA hasn't done too many like this as I suspect the co. might not be very pleased and might cause her some problems.

Well I intend to use as many of the coupons as possible in one shop - will have to remember to calculate the total to reach £30 after the discounts.

Seeing how busy our Aldi has become over the last few months, I think everyone is just going to have to accept that there will be long queues for the next week or so. Mind you, I never saw anyone else give up a voucher the last time they issued one.
