Thanks! Just ordered the checked RJR trench coat for £35.10 reduced from £130 using code from here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1076829, the reviews for it are good.
  • I've ordered a coat, but just read this about returns: Merchandise reduced by 50%
If you are returning items reduced to half price or less you may only exchange or refund on to a Debenhams giftcard. If you are a Debenhams cardholder, you can have a full refund credited to your Debenhams card providing the reduced items were originally purchased on your card. I'm hoping this doesn't apply to online orders - distant selling regs etc.

I'm annoyed also as I thought I was part-paying £20 with gift card which I've had for ages (that's why I opted for this coat - first thing I've seen for nearly a year that I really like) and nothing came up to say you couldn't when I paid (inserted details of card at payment stage). Only when I dug around in small print after I had paid and it was all taken from credit card did I find a bit about not being able to pay this way. An order can only be cancelled within 30 mins and only by contacting Customer Service which is unmanned at this time!

Maybe it's worth sending them an e-mail? At least it will have the time you wanted to cancel at logged on their system. You can send them an e-mail here:

P.S just in case it helps anybody, the blue coat in the sale is really thin, it's more like a summer coat or a thick shirt lol. The buckle straps are really thin plastic too. I tried it on in the shop. Edit: and the fabric is quite scratchy as well, can't forget that.
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.
  • if we order online, arent we covered by distance selling regulations? So should be ok to return for a refund within 7 days

Don't buy the Red Herring grey duffle cape either if you want to move your arms! Hubby nearly bought this for me for Xmas as I loved it when I saw it but when I tried it on you can barely move - no good with a 2 month old baby and the buttons holding the 'sleeves' together keep coming undone and you have to take the cape off to redo them!
