  • Good price and great for a collector. Pants as a children's toy though!

I agree most places are selling them for £20 each
  • Just my opinion but I purchased one of these for my daughter last year an found it to be very disappointing. Ok for an adult or a cheap gift if you are stuck but I wouldn't recommend them.
  • Thanks op.

Can I ask why people found these disappointing, or not good for children?

My girls looked at these last year but I wasn't prepared to pay so much, and they noticed them in Asda the other day.

Considering buying them at this price but a wee bit concerned now they won't be any good?

  • Same here, I thought my fairy mad dd would love it but it turned out to be another disappointing gimmick that doesn't live up to it's own hype.

A child will never get the fairy to interact as it does in the video, I would need a lot of practise to work one of these things correctly. Also I found the clips weren't strong enough either.

Totally agree, bought last year for my neice as a Christmas gift, its just a pretty plastic toy on a thin precarious peice of thread, cat got hold of it for all of 2 seconds before she shoo-ed him away and now it can no longer 'fly'. Worth around £3 IMO but no more then that, its essentially a plastic toy and a plastic wand connected by a too thin plastic thread liable to break even if you dont have a cat!
  • Thanks for the opinions, I've decided against them - money saved :-) lol
