... not at least if it is raining when you come to leave the shop and didn't arrive with your own umbrella .....

I've been to the one in Nottingham a few times over the years - not bought anything on many of them - but on 1 occasion it started raining whilst I was in the shop and on another just as I got out of the car about 100 yards away to run down the street and in the door.
When I came to leave I was handed an umbrella on both occasions. It was still wrapped in cellophane and was plucked from a selection hanging up just inside the door. The 1st time I enquired about returning it but was told it was a gift and I could keep it.
As it happened I didn't leave immediately and watched as every customer in the shop was also given an umbrella as they came to leave. This was repeated exactly the same the 2nd time it persisted it down
