DMP token payment advice please!

Hi all
I am currently getting together the info for a DMP with CCCS. In the meantime I am going to send token payments of £1 (postal orders) My question is who do I address the postal order to if the debt has already been passed to a debt collection agency? Or an arrears collection department? Also:
Do I just need to write my ref number on the back of the postal order- do I need to sign it?
I have previously read not to sign any letters to my creditors- is this right?
Is it ok just to send in normal post (not recorded)
Thanks and sorry for really silly questions!!

i would think a signature would be helpful in fact I'm sure Royal is free for a signature as proof of delivery. I would presume attach the reference number to hep them where to allocate it. I'm not 100% sure but surely if the CSCS haven't put in plan everything then that means you still owe the debt to the DMP so I would say the DMP0

Thanks
just confused as I wasn't sure who to make them out to, or where to send them. Guessing debt collection if I've had a letter from them 0 -
I cant help but dont send them normal post. Make sure you can track them and it requires a signature x0

Oooh, we didn't, we just sent them through normal post. Was this wrong? Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
Oct 2012 = Current debt: £40,548.93
Oct 2013 = Current debt: £39.054.70
DMP Support number 424 - Long haul number 3080 -
I have all the letters addressed and stamped now.... it would be easier (and cheaper!) to send normal delivery as wouldn't have to try and catch the post office in time. Does anyone know if it would make much difference? Will send it recorded if it does!0
