Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

Just check out the warranty situation before purchase. Pixmania are based in France and some products don't have an international warranty so you end up having to ship stuff back to France.

I bought a camera from them last year. The goods were dispatched promptly and the customer service was great.

It is a european product and the battery charger had a 2 pin plug on it, but they sent a free 3 pin adapter to use in sockets here.

    I would happily recommend them.
Here I go again on my own....

although, there seems to be some issues 'cos its sent from france, Ive seen more good reviews than bad, so Im risked it and just ordered a digital camera

it was £231, I joined their VIP club (free due to Zen engagement signup), and I found a discount code, which has given me a tenner off

so it worked out to be around 26 quid off
total price though with next day delivery is £231.96, not bad considering if u just got the camera itself, u got to pay delivery. Cheaper to go for Zen engagement/vip card.

if this service is any good, I may use them again as the vip pix card entitles u to free delivery and 7% off

anyways, the discount code to give u a tenner of is this "taken from a website"

Stores like the excellent electronics superstore Pixmania make it easy to guess the latest pixmania promo codes. They've got two pixmania promo codes which start DPUSER and camerabuyer which work as £10 pixmania discount vouchers when you spend £150 or more. To complete the pixmania promotion codes all you have to do is add the month and and year. For example to complete the pixmania promotional code for December 2004 just add 1204 to either of the pixmania codes above, nice eh?

    I used camerabuyer0405, it worked!,

oh, one more thing, I used linemypocket to get me 0.5% cashback!

Cheers guys, still debating whether to buy from the dodgy hong kong sellers on ebay on not. Friends have had a good experience, but i wonder what would happen if the camera goes wrong :)
