I also would do the following:
1 ) collect as much evidence as you can - ever had to go to the doctors/A and E because of work related injury?
2) Any chance of taking any phots - without getting into trouble obviously.
3) Make sure you document everything - make sure everything that needs to gets put in the accident book and keep as detailed written records of everything at home.
4) Make sure your facts are straight - you do not want to be accused of making anything up and any little hole might be a way out for your employer.
5) I would not talk too much in the workplace about this as you do not want to be seen to be causing trouble too much - obviously you have to follow the proper procedures but other than that I would not discuss it with other people.
Urm that's all I can think of for now.

I suspect this is not for real.....the OP sounded so ridiculous it made me laugh out loud!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0

If it's a bakery then your local environmental health dept are responsible for Health and Safety enforcement, give them a call. When I worked in this area we always welcomed calls from employees, and didn't make any reference to them when we called to make an unannounced inspection0

For your own interests try and find another employer if you can!
I've worked for a company in the past that blatantly flouted common sense h&s and went out of their way to con the inspector to save a few quid, sometimes almost to comic pantomime effect machines would constantly have corded off out of order areas, big as you like with people still working in them, if this was mentioned you were either laughed at or treated like a social outcast. Shopfloor People were regulary going to a&e. I learnt after I had left that someone had a very serious accident there.
Your employers don't sound good ones, most reasonable employers normally get things fixed rather than face getting sued after an accident at work. If you get on well with your manager maybe a jokey comment about 'accident at work think of the compensation!'
I know what you mean about not rocking the boat, but if you can take some photographs and maybe a if you've made some friends there that have been there a bit longer could have a word on your behalf saying they are a bit worried you might get hurt, and every time you burn your arms put it in the accident book.0
