i'm gonna have a look at the northern rock together or the coventry bs mortgage so i can consolodate the loan and car loan into one monthly payment, i'm looking for around 110000 for the mortgage and 20000 for the unsecured loan element which would clear all other debts then, do you think this is a good idea?0

In regard to MortgageMamma in areas such as mine (brighton) you would still need a HUGE mortgage to meet the 75% needed for open market home buy. The flats that are being offerred for shared ownership are cheaper at full price than a similar open market property as they are new build and not as desirable for most.
I am sure in some areas it is easier than down here.
Also not sure if I missed someone saying this earlier but the housing association will not let you borrow more than 100% of your share of the property.0 -
