I dug old last year's unused Christmas cards! Means I won't have to buy more to send to the oldies on my boyfriend's meals on wheels round.
Instead of buying dinner I just stuffed my face with the Christmas cookies hanging around the office. Sort of MSE. But not waist saving expert.
And my wages go into my bank account tomorrow, so I set up the transfer to pay off my credit card. Usually I pay it in full but this time have only managed £300/£440. I'm expecting more money before the bill is actually due though, so hopefully it'll be paid in full as usual. 0 I'm expecting more money before the bill is actually due though, so hopefully it'll be paid in full as usual. 0

Hello  late post for me
not much to report but:- had "bring & share" lunch at work - made a vat of spicy lentil soup (all ingredients from store cupboard) and then got free yummy food
- took note of mileage to update expenses tomorrow
- NSD
 - freeze LO soup for lunches next week

have researched hairdresser for dd's 18th next week & found a voucher for cut & blow dry at a salon in town for £25  will make her happy (even if it is momentarily) and miles cheaper than a meal put for 4 (gave her the option of a meal out or a haircut and a meal at home and she chose the haircut ) )
received heated dryer (very excited about this :j as have had problem with drying clothes now in a flat & it had really good reviews and much more frugal than buying & using a tumble dryer!) so have hung up a load & done another still to hang up. If the reviews are to be believed it should be dry in the morning & the lounge will be toasty so no need to put on the heating :T :T
 will also read martin's email
early night as work has been far from the "graduated return back to work after 3 weeks off with stress
but hey its Thursday tomorrow so only a week left until xmas holidays & then its only 2 more weeks till I'm out of that blood sucking hell hole!!!! :j
Love to you all xDF as at 30/12/16

            Evening All,
Late posting for me….no particular reason – just running late all day
Thanks to Perni for starting the thread
Hope everyone is ok – hi to all new posters
 Today I have/will:
 • Used railpass to get to work
 • Read free paper on the train
 • Read national paper online
 • Had a free coffee (from loyalty card)
 • Breakfast and lunch at work (ooops – not so MS)
 • Received party outfits from ebay – a top which is perfect and a dress which was labelled up as a size bigger than I need, but still didn’t fit (this isn’t an excuse really – the store is notorious for small sizes) and it stunk of smoke eeeugh! – it’s hanging up to air then I will re-list it (it still has its tags)
 • Shower and moisturise using own label toiletries
 • Need to put washing on a quick wash
 • Change in sealed pot
Think that is about it – must try harder tomorrow!

I have managed to squeeze a couple of extra things on to be a bit more dfw today.
Asked at work about childcare vouchers, in preparation for when I lose my tax credits next April.
Spent £8 in B*M which covered my secret santa and 4 other gifts for people.
Asked at nursery about over 3 grant - it's due to be paid from 1st Jan but has all changed from when dd was at nursery. Sounds way more complicated for my budgeting...Ninja Saving Turtle0

Oh, and I sold some stuff on ebay which I must post tomorrow...Ninja Saving Turtle0

Very late but today (yesterday!) I:
 - checked online banking
 - signed up for swagbucks and tried to earn as many as possible!
 - had tea/water at work
 - took a packed lunch to work
 - made my sandwich for tomorrow
 - all meals from stores
 - finished wrapping Christmas presents
Phew! And it starts all over again in a few hours, I should probably go to bed!
 Night all!0
