I don't have anything pre-wrapped but I have bought a Christmas plant for the house and then given it as a gift short notice.
If I don't give it then it l have something pretty all for me!

Well I do have spare stuff such as notelets or choc/toiletries - but I always do a list of gifts I intend giving - and if I get something from someone else I don't feel compelled to return it just for the sake of it.
New neighbours brough winde one yr but I'd already given a card so they knew I hadn't intended doing a gift so I just accepted and said thanks and left it at that.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Once I went with my then partner to his mother's for christmas. We had taken presents for anyone we knew would be there.
I handed him the present for his great aunt, but he gave it to a friend of his mum's who had come round for a drink - she was pleasantly surprised. His excuse was, he hadn't seen his aunt for ages! Even I knew who was who! I had to retrieve the gift tag before the friend saw it. Fortunately neither realised what was going on. Both in their 80's.
We had to get an envelope from his mum and give his aunt a gift token I had in my bag - she wasn't impressed. Well, she always gave us a gift token, it was funny looking backNot Rachmaninov

Don't have anything pre-wrapped but the BEST place to buy last minute presents (christmas or other) is Tiger.
One popped up near me a few years ago and it is brilliant. Cheap, cheerful, endearingly tacky as well as having some really nice stuff for the house.0 -
no, don't do any of that - I know who gets a pressie and who doesn't, I don't reciprocate with extra pressies or Christmas cards either - if you're not on my list, you're not getting
