Hi,

Is there any source to get a Job. I am good in Computers. I am in need of a job. I lost my part time job from McDonald.

If you are good in computers have you considered applying to be a CPU, or maybe a floppy disk drive?

@mark - I'm not sure the OP is saying they are good with computers at Techie/programming level. I'm expecting they are good with stuff like Word, Excel etc.

OP, how old are you? If you are still a teenager then see if the local advice service does careers advice.

Otherwise you need to speak to the jobcentre etc to get advice and they will probably refer you to Next Step.

Its not a case at the moment that you can get a job in an instant. It will also depend on why you lost your McDonalds job as a misconduct dismissal (or a NCNS) will make it much harder with so many candidates out there right now.

I'll say what others must be thinking.

You don't just lose your job at McDonalds. A job which is quite commonly seen as being right at the very bottom of the job pile.

In any case, whatever the reason, there are 2.6 million others without work.

So good luck as you're going to need some.
  • If your good at computers see about going to college and getting some qualifications in it. Next Step can advise you or Connexions if you are young.Or you could be proactive yourself and phone up the colleges in your town to see what they have to offer.
Also there is various voluntary work going which incorporates computing, look on do it.org.uk or pop into your local voluntary action. Doing either a course or voluntary work will give you another reference.
Depending on the amount of time you were at McDonalds for you could lose it off your c.v if the reason for leaving was very bad.I know other people will see this as absolutley terrible, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
You will be o.k just keep positive and focussed on your goals.
