yep, it's part of an agency but i can't remember which one... If you apply for a job through the agency you get a response from iProfile to update your details and create a full profile on their system
edit, actually after googling it, theres probably a few that use it0 -
Aha! Just searched my emails and there was one back in February from a company called Provide (I don't even remember contacting them
:o) mentioing about iProfile although when I try the log in info provided it doesn't work. Perhaps it expires after a certain time? 0 -
Hey, ... TAKE CARE ...
I received the same e-mail. The links in the email point to youriprofile.com and I do not remember registering with them either. I do, however, know that I am registered with iprofile.org.
Best case ... it is another profile site and you have forgotten your password.
Worst case ... it is a fake site that now has your username and password for iprofile.org, giving them access to a lot of personal information about you.
Take care ....
Regards
J
EDIT >>> looks like they are actually the same company ... a quick look on WHOIS shows both domains are registered to the same address in London.
Always watch out though as there are many scams trying to get at your detailed CV information. Lots of advice on the Web as what you should / should not include on your CV.0 -
Hey guys,
I am the marketing manager at iProfile and I assure you that the email you received was genuine.
In the new year we will be reviewing our email processes and will be making necessary changes to ensure that those receiving emails from us do not mistake it for a phishing scam.
This feedback has been really useful and will be included in the debrief when recommendations are made in the new year.
Thanks.0
