  • What a load of rollocks! lol

£3.99 postage for a SAMPLE - Sorry but that is taking the **** and I have lost trust in this ''small company''

If I was charging postage for a sample the max I would charge is £1.50 as there is NO WAY postage would cost £3.99 so they are obviously out for a profit .... I could probably get it couriered over for that price! :rotfl:

Lost faith in the company now , so the 'free sample' to get people to try , like and buy their products certainly hasn't worked with me!!

Don't be too harsh, this looks like a small company and there are an awful lot of us use this site, a small company cannot afford to give out thousands of free samples (that is a modest estimate of how many could apply just from this site alone, this one has been in all the freebie newsletters as well), I believe the high postage charge is to put people off from bothering now as they have no doubt sent out as many fully free samples as they could afford and they no doubt know only too well that the vast majority of people will just take the sample and never bother to buy anything from them.

I am with you on this. I have just received 4 emails asking me for P & P.

Definitely not going with this but it was a nice thought. Thanks anyway OP.
  • Shady behaviour and greed does make me come down hard as in I lose ALL FAITH in the company and being small is no excuse!

Someone asked them how large the samples are to warrant the £3.99 postage charge on their Facebook page and they would not give a direct answer and just said they were 'generous samples' well a generous sample could be just 5 or 10mls of course and even a 50ml tube of cream would NOT cost £3.99 to send!!

They removed the comment I made which I always find dodgy as it shows they have something to hide if they cannot be direct and honest and answer peoples questions!!!

I asked them exactly how many mls the samples were , obviously they did not want to answer for some reason and don't want the bad press over blatantly overcharging on postage for their very 'generous' samples! lol
  • I can't believe how angry some people can get over a freebie. Season of goodwill. :rudolf:

have to agree, it was free, I got mine free, they could have charged P&P to new enquiries, but honoured the rest. I posted a Mobile phone for £2:20, so £3:99 postage means they are making a profit, probably on the postage and the sample. Pure Greed.
No longer posting on freebies or comps
  • just submitted my info then they told me they would bill me for the p+p

    :(

can i cancel the sample request??
