After much thought and far to much time spent mulling it over I too will be passing on it this year.
I bought one last year and 2 of the hat boxes the previous year and still have bits floating around.
I have 2 daughters so would need to spend 50 pounds to get one each which I decided as just too much on top of my other spends. I have 20 pounds of points on my card and will make my own hampers up with goodies bought with points i may even use the hat boxes to display them. Good luck to those peeps who decide to brave the stores or stay up on a night time vigil

At midnight the site will go offline (well it has the last couple of years like clockwork) it will be replaced by a holding page. The holding page has (had) a heavily (fake) tanned couple on it grinning cheesily into the camera. Around 1-2am thing get so desperately boring on the waiting for the OOTW thread that lots of silly comments and sometimes amusing jokes and illustrations start appearing with reference to the aforementioned tangoed couple. Then (hopefully) around 3-4am the site will go live, we all get our orders in quick before the site falls over again from the rush of customers. Then we can all fall alseep happy in the knowledge that our sets are winging their way to us :-)

Ah i see thank you. My alarm was already set for 2:50 as i had heard that 3 am was the usual time but have set one for 3:50am as i really want to get one (my xmas pressie from dp lol)

So if i had 3 in my basket now, do you think they would be removed when the site goes live again? Earlier today it went 'out of stock' !nd emptied my basket lol.

Am SO tempted to get up and join the online carry on, but I do not have the cash and will be buying with High st vouchers. Trust the one girly thing my daughter has ever, ever asked for to be the most popular do dah ever. After much too ing and froing, my very good friend was going to try her damndest to get here for 9 and then up to the shops, but I don't think we would make it, my mother has been roped in to being there for shop opening. Judging by the Whoopie pie machine, which we managed to get the last of, loads of people from round these parts will be at the local Boots. Godspeed everyone!

I called into my local boots today and they told me that you can order the soap and glory in store tomorrow uptil 1400 hours for collection at any store at a later date. I hope this is right!
