Re-Register - So Frustrating

Have been registered with a particular agency for some time, originally with one branch and then transferred to another branch.

Once again I have been told that I need to re-register with them, I have lost count of the amount of times I have had to do this now with them, it's so frustrating because again you have to take in all details and re-do all the assessments. My usual consultant has left so I can understand having to pop in to say hello and meet the new one but re-register...... again?

Now they also say that I have to take a utility bill with me, never had to do this before and every is paperless so I don't have one any suggestions with that one?

  • can't you print one off?

Asked them that, not good enough, doesn't actually print the address, even have a letter from the tax office which they don't think would be enough either!
  • yeah it's a right nightmare with companies all going paperless, the people who require paperwork haven't really adapted their systems to match.

My work has moved to paperless pay slips and because they are really easy to amend before printing banks wont accept them for mortage applications or anything :/

Why do you have to stick with that agency? Go elsewhere if you're not happy.

Is this because the "consultants" are targetted to register x amount of candidates, and it is easier to find a reason to re-register the same people rather than finding new candidates ?

One of many, you have to be on more than one and play on off against the other.

Acc72 - you could be right, I just don't really get why have to re-register when they have my details because they actually phoned me on the number they have on their system!
