The sister had 3 more for me today, so I've now hit £200, can't believe it! I would probably be about £60 if she hadn't been looking out for them for me though. I've pretty much got my spending money sorted out for New York now, as I got lots of $$$ for birthday pressies and have a cheque for £118 which was the credit on my gas and electricity account, which I'm not cashing until just before I go away.

But I'd better think about making a start on saving for the dreaded building insurance and then Christmas...it's never ending ;)

Hello. Yippee its nearly Sunday (my day off :j )

Well hello there brummygirl25. Of course you can join - we haven't had a new member for a while so I hope you have a lot of fun saving along with us all! Have a quick look at posts one and two of this thread, then it is up to you to save as often as you can and let us all know your progress. So good luck!!

AND ANYONE ELSE LURKING THAT WISHES TO JOIN, PLEASE JUST PIPE UP YOU ARE MOST WELCOME :T

Hi Naomin . Well hopefully the door problem is only because the door has dropped. If so I reckon that should be pretty easy to fix, fingers crossed. I haven't heard anything about my laptop.....having to borrow my sisters when she isn't looking :rotfl:

Hi golly1 - congrats on finding a little wee coin. Don't despair just yet - it is amazing how they all add up

You have loads of time until september xspender. So a rattly tin already can only be a good thing :D

Hi mavvymoo - my sentiments exactly! Keep it up

Well done to you too Palema. All adding up nicely.

Aww no Dizzy isn't it annoying. I hope your lappy gets better as well as mine :( Well done for plodding on with the saving in the meantime

Hey joyce that is fantastic. It doesn't matter who you get them off, it is still you saving the money - that money would have been frittered away into the ether if you didn't have the sense to collect these coins. So a fab sister helps, but it is still your hard earned cash deservedly sitting in that pot :T It is never ending, but think how hard it would be if you WEREN'T purposefully saving all year

    See you soon peeps xx

SORRY DON'T KNOW WHY THAT DOESN'T WORK ALL THE WAY THROUGH - YOU GET THE GIST :) HOPE ITS READABLE X

Well, the man I called to come and give me a quote hasn't even called me back!

On the £2 front though, I got another one yesterday. That takes me upto £56 so almost on my way to giving Mr Branson an extra £20.

I hope all the Mummies, GrandMummies & Step-Mummies are having a lovely day.. I did get tea & toast in bed. shouldn't complain but tea was made with FF milk _pale_ and I'd rather have had a hot cross bun ;)

Took DS to church for Beavers so got a free posy of daffs and am now cooking a roast  I'm sure it's meant to be someone else doing it....

I was just reading back over the thread, it seems I must have joined the thread in a previous year and then again this year so I've got two numbers

    31 & 181

Observer - feel free to donate one of my numbers to a newbie, just let me know which one for my sig.

Also I'm up to £54 now and not £56.

I'm also getting a bit worried about my Costa Coffee addiction :o Apart from [STRIKE]expensive[/STRIKE] nice coffee & cakes, I am usually guaranteed a £2 coin in my change.
