Don’t feel guilty loudmouth. That is the point in saving – you AREN’T spending willy nilly, you have saved up for a specially wanted item that is worth the effort. You deserve something new sometimes and it will spur you on to keep saving to see what else you can buy. SO NO GUILT ALLOWED!! And try not to spend it on something else!
Thanks Observer, I can always count on you to talk sense. I have spent my entire adult life putting other people first ,now I have got to a certain age and should be able to buy myself things guilt free but it goes against the grain .I will buy that new coat and who knows I may even have a new pair of shoes to go with it!!
No coins today but it is my NSD.I have entertained myself by watching QE2 going through the Panama Canal. How the other half live. Imagine how guilty I would feel going on a round the world cruise!!!!:rotfl:0 -
I'm up to £20 (had four coins this week *mega grin*). This means that I have achieved one fifth of my target. Goodstuff!0

I haven't had any for ages and now I have another four - brings the total up to £28, I think.0

No more £2 coins lately, still only have 4... think this is due to at least a couple of NSDs over the last week, but that's still progress over my spending habits nonetheless!
Have added left over money remaining from this week's budget and last week's budget, as well as coppers and small change I found around the house and in my car, and I have £16.07 in the tin nowSo £8 from this challenge, and £8.07 from being well behaved and not maxing out my weekly budget etc. That way I'm still winning even with NSDs!
Really starting to enjoy this saving lark!Let's hope I can stick at it...

Ok now! This is getting ridiculous! Almost a whole month has gone by and not a peek at a £2 coin yet
Probably partly due to me spending less and paying for online shopping with my card but still...:(0 -
One more in the jar today:T0
