I'm a little late to the party, but what an awesome idea!
Friday will be the T minus one year until I get married and, of course, the MSE forums are the first place I look for inspiration
I have a little wedding fund tin, which I promised to only ever put pound coins in, but frankly, I've been a little slack. I like the 'challenge' with the £2 coins, so I'm going to adopt it immediately!

Debating if maybe I should start saving in this way too... Like I mentioned before, I usually lodge my shrapnel once a month (full coin bags only). I can still do that but start keeping £2s separate and see how I go.
