My hubby has put 3 shiny coins into the tin this week:D:T and I got 2 in change from my food shopping. The lady cashier looked at me rather oddly when I said "ooh thanks, two 2 pound coins":rotfl::rotfl:

Had a bit of an avalanche of them today - DD2 tidying up bedroom and find money box she 'forgot she had' !!! She has about 4 on the go BTW and in it found almost £50 some of it made up of £2 coins - so after much persuasion she has put it all in her savings account by way of giving the cash to me and I gave her a cheque - so thats 17 coins into the pot and an extra £34 on the total - well on the way now :j;):j

I got one in my change midweek, and it went in the pot, but I can't remember if I added it to my total

2 more yesterday ....1 from DH and one in change from the bootsale. Really pleased as got 2 brand new tops for £2 and then 1 £2 coin in change made my bargains even better :T Happy Hunting everyone and enjoy the sun.
