I haven't been on the site to report my savings, but since January, I have saved $62. I have been saving to pay my debt, but I was wondering how useful it is to wait until the end of the year to pay, when I could be making in-roads on the debt. I was thinking perhaps of paying every $20 I save into the store card account. I was thinking that Martin would say, get rid of the debt, because as it stands, the money is just sitting in a tin, but I am still paying interest. I can always keep a running total to see how much I have saved by the end of the year. It will be painful to part with my shiny coins, especially as they are not easy to come by, but I like the idea of seeing my account balance come down so that I can finally close this account and be that bit less in debt. Any words of wisdom?0
