  • Also struggling, my getting of coins seems to have really slowed down. Everyone keeps giving me £1 coins in my change instead! :(

Hope others are having better luck.

Still, I am still saving money through other means :)

I only just said that I wasn't getting any 2 pound coins and then today I get 4 in my change as the lady had no notes! Of course, it made my money available for the food shop a bit short. Never mind, I should have at least £20 now.

  • Hello Observer and everyone doing the £2 savers club challenge,

I was wondering if I could possibly join the challenge please? It looks like fun! I don't want to set a target - I'll be happy with whatever I manage to collect. I intend to put whatever I collect towards my Christmas presents fund.

I got 2 in change yesterday - my first for a while. Then my sister called to say she has about 6 or 7 for me. I'll wait till I see her before I revise my total, I'm happy because I now have all my spending money for my New York trip and can start saving the coins coins for my dreaded building insurance bill.

I have added you on the first page, have a quick glance then pop back as often as you can for a little motivational chatter :A

Also congrats for collections this week goes to: Palema, Joyce63, Naomim, Mavvymoo, Lemonpopsical, CatalogueQueen, Golly1, Mort (congrats on first coin!), Kacie, retiredandskint, mlbarrett, black cat, kylieminoag, Rosylee, sandied.

Hi Naomim – hope going backto work wasn’t too bad. I’m sure a few chocolate eggs helped the situation! :EasterBunWelldone on the door front Naomim. Thank goodnessfor the helpful souls in the world.:T

Bad luck on needing to spend them blackcat, but good ploy for avoiding the parking fee

Good old Easter bunny golly1! :icotbaske

Me too Kylieminoag, it’s notjust you lol

Aw no Rosylee. That poorpoor piggy. :( Soooooooo glad you finally found him food. Asking is nothing to beashamed of!!

Hope you reach that milestone soon mavvymoo

Wow Sandied well done, andfancy banking them all up north?! :rotfl:

You are all sounding as though you feel guilty for askingfor the coins off other people! There is really no need honestly. I mean ifthey aren’t going to love them and give them a little home with their £2friends, then why shouldn’t you?!

Also, as many of you seem to be doing so well, if anyone needs to change their target on the front page please just ask in an obvious manner or you might find I missed it lol :D

Best of luck for another week folks xx
