Re-insuring is OK as long as I can get monthly instalments - of course as a new undischarged bankrupt that's not going to be easy. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Apparently the Co-op will do monthly instalments on car insurance, certainly post discharge, be worth ringing them to see if they'll do it during BR too. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

I got a quote from their online thingy - £200 more than I'm paying now. Hmm....This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I thought there was a thread about BR friendly car insurance, don't seem to be able to find it atm - anyone else?
Try ringing Co-op as most members who have posted about their car insurance post BR have advised competitive or cheaper quotes. Might be cos you're currently BR but that shouldn't affect the premiums.
Hopefully someone else will pop along with the thread mentioned above as there's a few different insurers discussed in that. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

It can be done just go onto, I think it's Go Compare who ask the BR question in their form and go from there. There have been plenty of threads on here where people have put who they have been accepted by, just do a forum search. Premiums have gone up a lot anyway so the increase may be that and not BR. Also with Co-op I think people have got better results by phoning them up.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
