Best xmas/gift boxes of chocolates

Hello all,

I need to get some boxes of chocolates for Xmas presents, budget of about .99p a box (very tight xmas this year),

Or any other really cheap xmas bargains?

Trying to avoid Lidl & Aldi as my nan will know where they came from,

Anyone seen some good offers?

Boxes of Mingles scanning at £1.01 in Tesco when they should be £4

WHSmith had bags of Thorntons chocs for £1.00, milk choc, classic or mint. Poundland have boxes of After Eights for £1.00, they were on 3 for 2, not sure if they are still.

I nipped in after 5pm this afternoon, loads of AE in stock but not the 3 for 2 offer. They still have 86g bags of Thorntons though - 7 per bag.

I also noted another ?European chocolates called Johannes or something similar - 80g boxes of truffles etc in 3 different varieties but nicely gift-wrapped like Belgians.

I walked out empty handed .
