    Don't you realise Polly that it is because of people like you that there are thousands of people in this country getting benefits that are not entitled to? That money could be better used on people who need it.
    I know rates are different, but the principle is the same. Maybe you will have even worse karma for witholding information!

    Oh you've made me feel really bad now! My point was that if they're coming out to revalue every home, I hope they include their own staff. Now I don't know how widespread the practice is of VLA staff 'getting away with' not having revaluations done but if I thought it was normal practice, I'd be the first to complain - and publicly. Any VLA staff reading this thread who can shed some light please?

    I wouldn't for one minute think this was typical or normal practice. This is just someone openly (because he boasts about it) flouting the rules who knows better. I am certain the revaluation will find him out, whether the valuer chooses to pursue when alterations to the property took place is another matter.
