Coffee machine help!

Options
Want to get one for DS Xmas pressie but can't decide which to get.

ATM torn between the Philips Senseo or the Cookworks Signature espresso.

Anyone used these? Looking for the best for simplicity and speed of use, cost and availability of coffee/pods and the drink has to be piping hot!

Many thanks

Thanks, is it quick & easy? Like in the morning when he has to get to work, he won't want to be faffing around with things then!

Senseo machines & the Cookworks Signature Espresso Machine can use pods from Lidl. 3 blends... Brazil, Colombia & Kenya. Melangerie brand Pods. £1.59 for 18. Gold Winner at 'The Grocer Own Label Food & Drink Awards 2011'. 9p a cup.

Both machines are quick & fuss-free. The espresso machine can also use Senseo pods & loose ground coffee, so is more versatile.

Coffee from the espresso machine should have better flavour, aroma & crema, as it operates at the 15 bar pressure necessary to extract the goodness from the coffee.
