  • Most opticians wil give you a free trial if you are new to contacts, or are thinking about changing brand/type of lens.

If you are worried about about your contact leness falling out and loosing them, simply use a hole punch and thread a string through the hole. Hey Presto, If yor lensess fall out simply trace the string and your lensess will be at the end

I would just like to advise anyone trying this that I printed off a voucher for Dolland and Aitchison a couple of weeks ago. I made the appointment for the free eye test and contact lens trial and they kept me there for nearly 2 hours before saying that the voucher did not apply to me. Even just letting me have a couple of disposable lenses would entail me giving them bank details and signing a DD which they would cancel if I didnt like them. Needless to say I've found a more sympathetic optician.
