Repay loan early?
Hi
I need £800 to bridge my expenses coming in and having to settle my company credit card (my company does not provide a float or advance).
Nationwide has declined to increase my overdraft even for 2 weeks to help me despite 18 years with a Flexaccount. (My salary is paid into another bank's account).
The advisor suggested a personal loan which he assured me could be settled early.
What I would like to know is what charges or settlement fee is payable normally if I took out a £1000 personal loan over 12 months but repaid it in 1 month?
This is a messy way of getting short term finance but it seems I have little choice.
Many thanks
Steve

Their overdraft would be assessed based on the credits to the account - so makes sense
what about the other bank? - can they help you0 -
If you have been turned down for an overdraft what makes you think you will get a loan?
As regularsaver has asked you - why not ask the bank where your salary is going into or is there a problem there you have not told us about?0 -
Prolly have a better chance of getting a credit card than a loan (the 0% for 9 months maybe) but i would be hessitant if you have been declined extra on your overdraft. Was your increase on your overdraft request declined because of your credit score?0
