Hi All
I am starting a new job in Jan and would need to get a couple of new suits, an overcoat and a couple of shirts (maybe shoes - mens).
I was thinking I would just get it all from MS instead of walking around all over the place. MS already has a 25% discount running.
My question was, in your opinion, would it be cheaper to buy after X-mas or before? I have just graduated from a Master's course...so every penny saved...will go towards my loan repayment.
Thanks for any help.

Well my first stop would be Oxfam and the rest of the charity shops in the area. You would be amazed at some lovely suits and shirtd you may find. Shops end of line or discontinued new stock often find there was here. All the designer labels in one shop. Good Luck with the new job don't forget to look for a nice tie as well!0

It is difficult to get suits in the sales. You can get lots of separates but trying to get matching items in the correct size takes some doing. Why not look for a M&S outletor a next clearance . They have money off all year.

If you're sure of your size (maybe go to M and S and try some suits on there first) you could try the M and S online sale which I think will start 27th Dec but I'm not sure someone may correct me! You may be able to get trousers and jackets that go together better in an online sale. If you have enough money to 'front' it you could always buy more than one size style and then return the ones you don't want, their returns policy is pretty good.0

Thank you gents/ladies. Much obliged.0

The M&S sale usually starts online on Christmas Day. If there's anything you're interested in, you can add items to your online shopping basket and, if they're in the sale, the discounted price will automatically show up. You may need to be quick though, as their sale items tend to go very quickly.
If you're desperate for something, I'd probably buy it before Christmas in case it's (a) not in the sale or (b) you can't get it. But for anything else, the sales could be a good option.0 -
Was in Marks Outlet this morning and they have suits reduced.0

Buying before Christmas is a wise decision to make for there are a lots of discounts and promos on holidays. Happy shopping.0

If you are after suits, I would get them before the sale as it is normally a nightmare finding matching items e.g. shops normally have loads of jackets, but hardly any trousers.
Many shops have already started their sales, so you may find that there aren't further discounts after Xmas. If you keep the receipt, you can always return things if they are further reduced.
If you are up for getting up early, you can always go to the Next Sale. IF you go early enough, you may pick up a couple of suits that fit.
PS congratulations on the new job!!!!!0
