Does anyone know if it is possible to get an iphone unlocked in the Belfast area and how much it would cost, its currently on O2.

it might be worth checking that it is locked to start with. in my experience, o2 supply their phones unlocked (although I have not had an iphone from them and it is possible that they do lock them for some reason). have you tried a sim from a different network in it?0

after a lot of tooing and frowing, phoned O2 and as contract has ended they will unlock for free, happy bunny waiting on a confirmation email, so thanks to Bigsy for the heads up, funny never would have thought O2 would have been so obliging
BTW was quoted everything from £35 to £75 with no guarantee, most helpful and honest was phone repair shop opposite Republic in royal Avenue0
