Can anyone recommend a reliable broker in SW London?

Hello,

I'm a first-time buyer and have found a flat in SW London I'd like to make an offer on, so I'm looking to speak to a mortgage advisor. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable and trustworthy broker based in London who can help?

Thanks in advance.

Does the broker need to be in the area? Plenty of brokers are telephone based who could assist you.

  • Not necessarily. I'm not too wise on the mortgage aspect so would prefer to meet face-to-face where I could really explain my situation and get advice, but do you think I'd be able to get that over the phone?

Depends on the individual. I have sat with clients face to face when it is obvious they are too scared to ask a question for fear of it being 'stupid' No such thing, if you feel the need to ask it then it is a valid question. On the phone the barriers are often removed.

Most important thing is to trust the adviser. If you are comftable then you will get all of your queries across. Your adviser should explain everything to you fully anyway.

Mortgages can be daunting but with the right advice it is made much easier.

    Good luck with it.
